National EMS Week 2012: "EMS: Not a Job, a CALLING"
May 23 set aside for Emergency Medical Services for Children Day

Please go to http://www.acep.org/emsweek to order your planning guide (kit) online. You can order only 1 kit online this year. If you need to order more than 1 kit, please use the order downlodable here. I’ve attached the order form. Return the order form to Denise Fechner at dfechner@acep.org no later than Dec. 15, 2011. ACEP plans to distribute the 2012 kits earlier this year so your cooperation is greatly appreciated in meeting this deadline.

EMS Week has been an excellent platform for getting our EMS message out, not only during EMS Week, per say, but over the course of the entire year as we plan events and celebrations of the hard work performed by EMS, every single day. The kit contains vendor information, planning tips, industry editorials, trends and ideas from a global perspective which are unique and helpful to the EMS community across your state and the nation.

EMS Week has been celebrated for almost 40 years. It is estimated that around 30,000 kits will be sought this year. The EMS Week Facebook page has been up for two years and enjoys over 13,000 friends (https://www.facebook.com/National.EMS.Week). As EMS continues to grow and mature over the years, ACEP looks to each state as a partner in spreading the message to the recognition and thank you to EMS all across the country.
