About the Mid-Year Meeting

The NASEMSO Mid-Year Meeting purpose is to address emergency medical services and homeland security legislative and regulatory issues; the EMS work force; NASEMSO project updates (model rules for ambulance vehicle design, model interstate compact for personnel licensure, model EMS clinical guidelines, air medical task force, intelligent transportation and traffic incident management developments, and model trauma plan); the National EMS Education Standards project; and more.

Who Should Attend

The NASEMSO Mid-Year Meeting is planned for members of NASEMSO and federal officials with a role in emergency medical services.

New This Year

NASEMSO is holding its 2013 Mid Year Meeting in conjunction with two significant EMS events — EMS on the Hill Day (sponsored by NAEMT) and EMS Today (the JEMS Conference and Exposition). NASEMSO members may register online here for the EMS Today Conference at a discounted rate of $25 off a one-day registration or $100 off the two- or three-day registration.

Note: The Renaissance Hotel is now sold out, but discounted rooms at one or more nearby hotels are available. To reserve your hotel room at the conference discounted rate, you must reserve online here. NASEMSO members do not need to be registered for the EMS Today Conference to access the discounted hotel rates. For those reserving rooms at the Double Tree in Crystal City, shuttle service will be provided to and from the Renaissance Hotel and the Convention Center. Transportation is also available from the Double Tree via the Metro.
