Committee Purpose
The purpose of the Government Information Committee is to serve as a governmental affairs and advocacy committee relative to federal, state and local EMS issues.
Committee activities include:
- Inform and educate members about relevant EMS-related legislative and government affairs liaison issues.
- Make recommendations to the Board of Directors on whether to support legislation and policy related matters.
- Encourage and promote NASEMSO member involvement in advocacy efforts of partner organizations.
- Develop position and policy papers related to legislation, government affairs and state office related policy issues.
